Each year, as the Chairman for PONANT & Paul Gauguin Cruises Asia Pacific, Ponant selects a voyage from our extensive programme to host as a special journey for their PONANT Yacht Club Members and new guests from the Australian & New Zealand region.

We invite you to join Ponant for an incredible tropical luxury expedition exploring the sublime natural landscapes and ancient cultures of New Guinea. Together with Mick Fogg, Director of Expeditions, Asia Pacific, they have hand crafted an unforgettable itinerary showcasing the remarkable spice island history, remote beauty of Indonesia’s Bird’s head seascape and the ancient cultures of Papua New Guinea, the most culturally diverse place on earth. A highlight will surely be the two days set aside in Cenderawasih Bay to maximise your opportunity to swim with the world’s largest fish, the whale shark.
